Be Lucky: How to turn £5 into £800+ (or lose a fiver)

By The Boy -

This weekend’s Premier League card only has one big ‘head to head’ fixture, so in theory there’s plenty of scope prise a few shekels from your local bookmaker – in theory.

Everton vs West Brom has home win all the way through it like a stick of rock. We didn’t make the Toffees look good, they were good and old Carlo has so fare worked some magic. Did Daniel hire the wrong serial winner?!

Leeds United welcome Fulham to Elland Road and based upon last week’s games from both sides, this is also home win, but with the caveat that Bielsa cannot survive on looking good against Liverpool, and then lose against the likes of Fulham.

Manchester United need to beat Crystal Palace, simply because that’s what big clubs are supposed to do, isn’t it? Home win.

Arsenal versus West Ham and alas, there are only 3 outcomes, win, lose, or draw. Not one bookie would give me ‘huge meteorite to wipe out stadium’, so I’ll take the home win.

Spurs are the early game tomorrow, 12pm is kick off at St Marys and our form there isn’t remarkable. Something drastic needs to prevent a draw, which we’ll be lucky to get based upon Everton and Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Newcastle host Brighton we’ll swerve on the grounds it is impossible to call.

Chelsea host Liverpool and it’s worth reminding you that there were 8 goals the last time these two met, with Liverpool winning 5-3. Away win, based upon the performance against Leeds United.

Leicester City take on Burnley; and here we have two erratic sides, so I’ll take the draw.

I’m hoping Bielsa unleashes his lads to go full-on at the cottagers. A nice thumping will get them up and running.
