Peter Crouch has hailed former Tottenham teammate Rafael van der Vaart as his favourite partner that he played with during his career.
Speaking on his BBC Podcast, Crouch said: “Someone asked me recently who my favourite partner to play with out of anyone would be. I’ve played with and I would say him, (Van der Vaart). We had a good connection.”
Crouch and Van Der Vaart struck up a prolific partnership during their one season together at White Hart Lane. It was actually the 6ft 7in striker who was often the creator for the mercurial Dutch playmaker.
Here are all of the goals that Crouch supplied for VDV – knockdown, follow-up, go again. (There are a few non-Crouch assisted goals in this video too).via ytCropper
