Tottenham are close to announcing their first deal of the January transfer window and it is a new long-term contract for Pape Matar Sarr.
It was reported by The Athletic on Sunday that the young midfielder is in line for a new contract and that he has already agreed a deal in principle to sign a new contract with the club.
Fabrizio Romano also affirmed the reports, stating that the agreement has been reached and an announcement is expected soon.
And the transfer expert has now share the latest on it. As per him, the deal is all set and the agreement has been completed with the midfielder.
He states that all that is remaining is the paperwork, which is getting ready as we speak. His new contract with the club will be valid until 2030 and will be announced soon.

The 21-year-old has been sensational for Spurs this season, having played 18 games so far, starting 16 of them.
He has made an instant impact to the team since being promoted to the first-team and has formed a formidable partnership with Yves Bissouma in the middle.
