Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie has been linked with a move away from the club, and AC Milan are keen on him.
Sources close to the situation have informed TheBoyHotspur that AC Milan have made a move for Udogie, but a high transfer fee remains a major obstacle.
Tottenham will not accept anything less than €50-60 million for the young Italian star. Udogie has been linked with Manchester City as well.
The player, who is under contract with Tottenham until 2030, is one of Milan’s priority targets as they look to strengthen their defensive line.
However, the Serie A club will need to pay a substantial amount of money to secure his transfer from the Premier League side, making the deal quite challenging.
Aside from Milan, two unnamed clubs have inquired about the Italian left-back’s availability but have refrained from making official offers due to his high price tag.
Defender not angling for a move
Udogie is content at Tottenham and has no intention of forcing a move. However, should a strong offer come in and Spurs approve, he “would be open to discussions”.
He is highly rated at the club, and Tottenham should look to hold on to him. Udogie is still only 22, and he will get better with coaching and experience. He will be an asset for Spurs for the foreseeable future.
Tottenham are lacking in depth in the left-back department, and selling the Italian would be a surprise. Also, Milan need to improve multiple areas of their squad, and they might struggle to pay his asking price.
Tottenham must keep Destiny Udogie

Udogie has had his fair share of inconsistencies, but he is a prodigious talent with a bright future. He has been labelled as “outstanding” in the past.
Keeping him at the club should be a priority for Spurs if they are serious about building a formidable squad for the future.
It remains to be seen how the situation develops.
