I find it increasingly difficult to offer anything productive, meaningful or worthwhile on this blog with the way this club is being run at boardroom level and managed on the pitch.
The board is in such a position where they answer to no one, therefore they run it exactly how they want with little to no interest in how the public, the media, and most of all its football club fans react to what they do.
On the field, we play with no purpose, no real structure, and no passion… because we have a disillusioned set of players who are not focused upon what the current manager is trying to achieve with them.
The sacking of Poch undoubtedly affected the club, and its squad at the time, it then endured a completely different style of play and management from Mourinho, which unquestionably failed despite the early promise.
There have been changes to the squad yet despite this, we continue to play negative unproductive football with a manager who looks increasingly out of his depth and too many players underperforming.
I don’t think for one minute that some players, including long-serving players, are immune or ignoring how the club is running itself, and I’d say there is a disconnection between those on the board and squad members. I believe the majority of players care and want success, however, there is a lack of direction and conviction from those above which the players are realizing to their detriment.
That’s how is see it. The parasite will only leave the food source once it has exhausted the resources or the source becomes toxic to it……. an uncoveted asset has no value
Hopefully the tourist fanbase that Levy relies upon and has under his spell currently, will begin to diminish in numbers to such an extent that he loses them alongside the long term fanbase.
That will be interesting to see how he copes with a situation that means a half full stadium and huge loss of annual revenue, well I can dream !
Giving up season tickets is only cutting off your nose to spite you face, the waiting list is by far greater than the 42K available.
I gave up my membership after 30+ years so I no longer attend 10-12 games a season.
Does Enic care?….absolutely not, my place has been taken by somebody else.
There lies the problem. Enic have no empathy with supporters, we are just numbers to the bean counters.
The club is regressing back to the Sugar years in the 90’s after El Tel left.
Just like then, we will chop and change head coach/managers but the owners will remain.
Really, a sizeable section boycotting games and giving up season tickets is the only possible way to both embarrass and stress the point effectively to Levy/ENIC.
Losing these derby games etc, it’s an embarrassing decline since Poch’s time. Also worrying that many of us regard his return as the only way you can get anywhere working under Levy because of his ability to get a tune out of a younger hungry but ultimately lower cost team. Would it even work out as well the second time around?

I honesty feel that Levy’s betrayal of the fans by not doing his best to back Pochettino was a watershed moment, particularly as it coincided with the stadium move.
Leaving your spiritual home has a huge emotional element for the fan base. Then to quite obviously not back a manager that was clearly overachieving was just inexcusable. Levy’s done with the fans and they’re done with him, I can’t see any trust in the regime ever being restored. Not after everything with the stadium and the subsequent decline. No way…
Where’s the heart and soul from the fans that attend the games. Even if their going to turn up at least start making a noise, make if un-comfortable for him to sit there watching with the TV camera’s there.!!

When you look at the players bought at great expense pre Paratici the gulf between fantasy football NFL Spreadsheets and reality kicks in. We all want them to succeed but let’s face it the omens aren’t good.

When you look at the money Levy has spent pre Paratici on the like of LoSellOn and NDembele , who we all want to be brilliant but..transfers based on data defined by NFL sdpreasheets you realise that the club through Levy , Coco the Hitchen, and Donna Needs Cullin will do anything rather than focus on the methodologies accepted in researching scouting decent players at hopefully a decent price.
This is because they either believe they are the Uberbeings destined to run the Universe or for me at least the are taking the living piss, because they can.
