What a difference a few days makes in football. It could have been so bad for Eric Dier against Man Utd just a few days back but ever since VAR overturned the outrageous dive from United’s Bruno Fernandes the England international has just grown in stature.
He could have ended that game being responsible for two penalties but instead his overall performance was applauded and last night against the Hammers he went one step further. He was a rock at the centre of defence and his partnership with Davinson Sanchez is starting to look like the real deal.
The 26-year-old was speaking to SkySports after the 2-0 win over West Ham and he clearly came across as a player full of confidence.

Watch this space but so far gets a thumbs up ,when players are up to speed he might struggle a bit or maybe his reading of the game will improve . If Maureen can get a tune out of him there then fair play.
