This announcement did not generally speaking receive a positive response from those that expressed an opinion. It is also worth noting that this Tweet was bundled out of the limelight after just 6 minutes, which on a non-match-day is a frankly embarrassing tactic for the club to resort to.
The core issue here was not that the Tweet announced that Season Tickets being available for sale, rather that these products are far from guaranteed! Whist the club outlines the various packages, just like the THST, this private organization is bound by the rule of law, a process that neither has any involvement with. I’ve been pretty jarred off with what is a limited house arrest, but I have no say. THFC has no say either, we’ve all got to get on with this because that’s the law.
THFC is seeking to sell a range of products for advance sale, in a climate that is wildly unpredictable. This is not a debate. If the government announces that the contagion/death rate in London was peak to peak, those products could become entirely unavailable.
