Young Tottenham supporter discusses her love for Son Heung-min after viral video

By now, many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have seen the viral video of a young fan waving to Son Heung-min while the forward was warming up on the sidelines during the squad’s December 22nd match against West Ham United.

The 29-year-old waved back as she looked back with an excited face. The Daily Mail relayed the remarks made by Delilah Thorpe’s mother, Demiee, on the viral moment regarding her four-year-old daughter.

“[Son] is also my favorite because he is always smiling and me and mummy call him the “smiliest boy,” Delilah said.

“Unfortunately, she has never met him, but it would be a dream to meet him,” Demiee said. “Delilah has supported the Spurs her whole life. She went to her first game in August 2021.”

Delilah lives in West Sussex, and her mother states that her daughter has supported Tottenham all her life. She adds that Son is her daughter’s favorite player because she enjoys his camera celebration when he scores.

Son is Delilah’s favorite player because “he always plays good” and she “loves watching him score because when he scores he pretends to hold a camera.”

Perhaps there is a connection to the moment as Tottenham would defeat The Hammers 2-1 with goals from Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn. The two have yet to meet Son, but perhaps now, with this video reaching viral status, there might be a meeting in store between the two in the future.

I’m taking my son to his first Spurs game against Morecambe on Sunday. I hope he enjoys it.

Everyone’s favourite. I always get the impression that there is a lot more to come from Son and hope Conte can unlock that potential.

On that basis, is Lucas Moura a below average player in Brasil?

It’s funny how Sonny is the best footballer among 5 billion Asians but would be an average player in Brasil.
