Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici reportedly held some discussions with the entourage of highly-rated young Nantes forward Kolo Muani, according to Foot Mercato.
Spurs could do with strengthening up front at the moment, with Harry Kane totally off-form since his summer transfer saga, and with Nuno Espirito Santo generally struggling to get his side playing flowing attacking football.
Muani has shone in Ligue 1 and looks like he has a big future in the game, with Foot Mercato noting that big clubs like Bayern Munich have also shown an interest in him already.
It could be great business if Tottenham get in ahead of them and win the race for Muani, so fans will hope Paratici’s early approach to the player’s environment can put the club in a strong position.
It will be interesting to see what Muani himself would prefer at this stage of his career – a move to Bayern which would guarantee Champions League football and the chance to win trophies, or a switch to Spurs where he’d perhaps have to face missing out on those things for a while, but where he’d probably get more playing time and a chance to develop.

OMG, linked to more French dollop in the current climate wont go down well!
