Tottenham come into this game still stinging from Firmino’s late winner, still frustrated with the overly cagey showing against Palace; Leicester are looking to rapidly move on from their miserable, 2-0 defeat to Everton.
Mourinho must have talked through with the boys the whole business about switching the play, when the moment feels right. This is something that needs to sorted fast, as they don’t play Manchester City every week.
Tottenham’s form against the Foxes is relatively immense. We’ve won 5 of the last 7 meetings with this mob. Those games also produced a lot of goals, 21 in total.
The bookies fancy Spurs, @1/1, City are @14/5 and the draw is @5/2. One market I’d be putting a few shekels on is Goals Under/Over. I don’t expect either side to sit back for long and Brendan Rogers in particular will be feeling uncomfortable about the prospect of getting locked in a game of chess this afternoon.
This is a game primed for a Spurs win and to see a steadying of the ship. A stumble here and questions will have to be asked.

José is the best manager this club has had in decades. Anybody who is neither football-illiterate nor under the age of 16 should be able to see that in the all-round grown-up and determined attitude throughout the squad. It also looks to me that the board are finally taking the concept of “winning” seriously and it’s no coincidence that that can be seen since José’s arrival. I cannot think of a single aspect of Spurs, the football club that has not improved in the last 13 months.
I honestly believe that but surely now I’ve come out and said so, we’ll grind out a 0-0 today and rue a lack of attacking instinct!
Good time to play them, I reckon 2-1 Spurs. We’ll be better at home, the opposition expect home teams to come out and play, whereas we don’t, so they think they’re the home side and it messes with their heads! 😂
When Jose doesn’t win its voodoo from fans? 👌 🤔
Jose too, get on the ball and go for it when we need to. Why does every attacking move have to be from deep on f*cking break?
Forget about all the Past ‘What Ifs’ and ‘We should have done this , that ‘. We have to move on and a Win today is extremely important. So lets hope that the players have learned something .
Have £10 on the win, £5 on the HT/FT win and another £5 on Kane to score anytime.
Plus a £5 free bet covering the draw…first week I’ve covered the draw but the boys have dented my confidence a bit.
Big match this one in terms of momentum.
Depends on whether the fake fans get their José hating voodoo dolls out
