Harry Winks has struggled to play football at Tottenham this season. He has been a victim of the fine form of the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Gareth Southgate has kept him in the England team so far, but if his situation doesn’t change, he will likely leave Tottenham.
Sun Sports claims that if he doesn’t get the playing time that he needs to make the England team for the Euros next year, he is likely to leave the club.
A move to Serie A or La Liga is a possibility, and the report says that Southgate will be impressed with him if he makes such a decision.
It also adds that both European leagues will suit the style of play of the midfielder.
Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko are two other players that have been playing ahead of Winks.
Both players are the driving force behind Tottenham’s success, but if they get injured, the Lilywhites will need Winks to step up and fill the void.
Spurs have been on a fine run of form this season and no one can fault the selections of Mourinho.
Winks can only hope that he can soon get chances to play, it remains unclear if the club will allow him to leave when the transfer window reopens next month.
Only thing that bothers me about Winky leaving is the HG issue especially if we get a decent offer for Del boy as well.
