Good news for Spurs. Gareth Bale, Ben Davies and Joe Rodon test negative for coronavirus after Wales’ match with the Republic of Ireland #THFC #COYS

It’s difficult to express my contempt for international football. As a blogger it does little more than steal the food from my mouth, and for football clubs it does far worse, as coaches pace like expectant fathers waiting to see what injury woes have been inflicted upon them. Worse yet, we now have a situation whereby players are having to risk catching this wretched Coronavirus – all in the name of what?
The Press Association’s Jonathan Beal has just reported that Tottenham boys Gareth Bale, Ben Davies and Joe Rodon are all clear, but as other Twitter users soon pointed out in their subsequent comments, these tests immediately after games are of limited value.

All non-Premier/Champions/Europa League games clearly ought to be suspended until there is a truly effective solution. Players roaming the globe playing games such as these are nothing but a nuisance, not just to the sport but the public.

Wales test 48 hours before and again after each game, so far so good.
High appreciation for this article.
Spot on.
Trained person healthy person (as all athletes are) overcomes this in a couple of days. Idk why we are still dancing around a piece of sh*t. Regardless, it goes without saying that international friendlies at this moment dont make sense
