Anyone who is or has been an employer at a senior level, who has been watching the All or Nothing series on Amazon unfold, will have drawn the same conclusions about Danny Rose that I have. Any perceived toxicity about the boy after his seemingly endless outpourings to the press had been completely confirmed.
A source close to the club tells me that nobody at the club is confident Rose will have any takers for his services come next season, and that the one time fan favourite could well see his last season out at Tottenham playing bit parts. This is, of course, José Mourinho feels he has no other options as having Rose in the dressing room is not felt to be ‘a constructive place for him to be’.
This is ultimately to story of a player who missed the boat and then spent the rest of his time on the jetty bemoaning his lot. Danny Rose is finished and now might be a good time to reboot his brain and decide how he is to spend the rest of his life. Moping and snarling, or find some peace and dare it be suggested, some happiness.
My unhappy hunch is that he will continue upon this campaign, and be talking to the press again, very soon.
Shame we cant free up his wages
He cant see the error of his ways.
Someone will take him. Come January a relegation fodder will want “anyone” and take him is my guess. Worry is, if he would go.
