Arsenal’s humiliating defeat at relegation fodder Aston Villa confirmed for the fourth year running that Tottenham are the Kings of North London.
Even when Spurs have had a terribly inconsistent season and are nowhere near the team they were a couple of seasons back, they still finished above that lot.
Let’s not forget that Arsenal spent nearly £150 million in last summers transfer window and still they cannot overhaul us.
It is now getting to a stage that Arsenal is irrelevant and going forward as a club, Tottenham now has far bigger fish to fry.
At best, Arsenal is no more than a domestic cup team, a sort of Wigan Athletic or Portsmouth if you will.
Now, I know they are desperate to be kings of something so I had a quick look at the table and I reckon they should look at moving back home to South London where they can battle it out with Crystal Palace.
No doubt they will point out that they could conceivably deny us a place in next seasons Europa League by winning the FA Cup but so what, that does not change the final Premier League positions.
Tottenham are the Kings of North London, they have been for four years now and the chances of that changing any time soon is remote.
I am a generous man with a kind heart and so for any Gooners that may be reading this, here is a link to the Woolwich Ferry service so you can toddle off to where you really belong and maybe, just maybe, can be kings once again..

I’m a brompton cycle man.
I’m glad I am not the lone voice here. It is nice to finish above Woolwich but that’s the end of it. We are both scrabbling around for entry into the Rope-a-dope Cup after what 4/5 years in the CL.
“Here you are Mr Tapper we have had to take your BMW i8 away but look what we have instead a shiny new Ford Focus”
Small Time
They’re in the cup final. Hold off the bragging.
I will take no pleasure in finishing higher if Woolwich win the FA Cup…again.
Especially if we end up 7th which is highly likely.
These ‘bragging rights’ articles are fate temptingly premature, and frankly embarrasing whilst our trophy cabinet is full of dust bunnies.
This site needs to get its story straight – Poch failed because 2nd once and 3rd twice, and top 4 4out of 5 in 5 years yet we are better than Arsenal for being a few points above them regardless of trophy…If ARsenal win the FA cup, they had a better year than us, no question at all!! If we were top 4, and they were 9th and win the FA cup, a bit more of a debate, some would argue they edge it. This season could easily see Arsenal win a trophy and deny us Europe, and West ham stay up, while we finish 7th and potentially lose Kane…we have had a bad year. Ignore the “rivals” personally I always thought that the first real marker that the Arsenal were dropping was when their fan base celebrated “st totteringsday” because that turned into the trophy they didnt win that year, we are celebrating this with an empty trophy cabinet and not even top 4!
Whilst this is enjoyable, there’s still a large amount of hubris with this as we have won f-all and they have 3 FA cups in the last 10 yrs and another possible FA cup shortly. If I was a Gooner (never), I would be sitting smugly looking at our empty trophy cabinet.
