Video Evidence: All 3 Of Serge Aurier’s Mindless Losses That Resulted In Shots On Goal by Manchester United

Serge Aurier is not so much of a Marmite character, after all, some people express a fondness for that grim toast topping stuff.

However, this does produce some extremely lazy commentary from some fans, who in venting their frustration, do tend to target the same names, without evidence. And Serge tends to routinely get a good kicking, come what may…

Friday night wasn’t his finest hour and these three clips sadly sink the Ivorian.

Nobody lost the ball as frequently as Aurier did against Manchester United, and those 3 little yellow lines in the graph above are where the losses resulted in shots on goal. Here then, are those 3 gloriously mindless moments.

Here’s what, at the other end of the pitch, one would call an assist.

This demonstrates abysmal levels of concentration.

Finally, 3 touches before the scuffed ball to an opponent’s feet…

So there, ladies and gentlemen of the jury you have it. Or rather, Man United had it, gifted to them, on three mindless occasions.

The first clip is Davinson Sanchez. Bit ironic considering you mention “lazy commentary” and how Aurier gets targeted without evidence 😂. I think the other incident you meant was actually leading up to one of the penalties 😀

I fully agree. Aurier is a liabilty and you can put Sanchez in that category as well. Davies is a back-up at best. Dier i thought had a decent game, penalty aside, and maybe centre half will prove his best position. Add in the fact that Toby is past his best and Jan is off shortly then major investment is required. Lloris was back to form though I thought. Hopefully we see some consistency from him now.

He must be laughing now Japhet is injured and Foyte looks as if he will be on his way after injury. How sad is that for us.

He’s fakin useless. But then look across that back 4. Not one of those who played the other night or as we head toward the end of the season would get into any of the top 4 sides or a half decent CL team.

The words complete overhaul don’t come close to the motley crew we have wearing our shirt atm.

ENIC OUT !

Just shows how bad a situation the club is in that he is still here, we haven’t the funds to replace him or other positions have a higher priority. Even worse is the fact that Mourinho is actually catering to this guys weaknesses. Because he’s a hopeless defender Mourinho has adopted a system of one attacking wing back and one defensive wingback. Guess which one he is. The opposition know there will be no threat going forward from Davies and can target him. I know one thing Auriers antics wouldn’t be tolerated in Man City or Liverpool.

Needs to be replaced in these big games. Can’t be relied on.

And yet player ratings had him above Winks! How? As a full back Aurier is a calamity.
