Tottenham is facing serious competition from Premier League rivals for the signature of Southampton midfielder, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Dane will enter the final year of his Southampton deal at the end of this season and he is looking to change clubs.
The Saints have tried their best to get him on a new deal but all their efforts have been in vain suggesting that they might be forced to cash in on the former Bayern Munich man.
Spurs have been linked with a summer move for him but TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook has revealed the Saints’ asking price for the midfielder before revealing that Tottenham isn’t the only team looking to sign him.
He claimed that Jose Mourinho’s side will face competition from Leicester City and Everton for his signature.

He added that if any of his suitors meet his asking price, he is likely to leave.
“We’ve been following this story over the last couple of weeks.” He said.
“I read out those quotes from him speaking in Germany a fortnight or so ago saying he wants to go on and play in the Champions League and play for a club which is capable of competing for the title.
“Southampton have put a £35m price tag on Hojbjerg’s head. We know there is interest from Spurs, Leicester and Everton as well.
“I think it is looking very likely now that Pierre Hojbjerg, who only has a year left on his contact and is Southampton captain, will be leaving St Mary’s this summer if one of those clubs is willing to meet that asking price.”
Totally agree, but you do know Levy is our chairman don’t you? To normal people, Spurs would replace key players (Walker, Dembele, Eriksen) and strengthen in key areas (centre forward) but Levy isn’t normal. Although Hojbjerg is hardly a world beater, I don’t think any of the current squad are better than him in defensive midfield.
If Leicester come in then Tottenham will dodge a bullet, either way it keeps the asking price high for SFC- also read Newcastle are in the hunt. I think he knows he’s not up to cl standard and will go with the best contract. Don’t rate him and easily replaced and upgraded
If it was between us and Everton, there is only one winner. Leicester are a different proposition. However, with Ndidi and Tielmans I can’t see Hojbjerg being first choice at Leicester, but they can offer a potential Ch Lg place, but only for one season. I’d be surprised if Leicester stay in the top 4 next season.
