Report: Levy Wants Tottenham Ground Staff To Mow His Lawn

Daniel Levy’s PR couldn’t be much worse right now, but not for a lack of trying.

According to The Telegraph, the Tottenham chairman is considering putting the club’s ground staff to work on his own private estate in Hertfordshire.

There are no pitches to prepare and the training ground is shut so the ground staff’s workload has been lightened significantly.

That is not to say that Levy isn’t an arrogant pig for trying to take advantage of this by getting them to mow his lawn, even if, as The Telegraph reports, he would be paying them out of his own pocket and not the club’s.

As if Levy’s treatment of non-playing staff has not been bad enough, furloughing 550 of them without topping up their pay, he is now thinking about asking them to go against government guidelines regarding travel and non-essential work, to keep the ones he hasn’t laid off busy.

Just pay the staff and let them spend time with their families, you monster.

Levy is becoming Trumplike. He should employ someone who isn’t a millionaire to vet his decisions as he is making even more of an arse of himself than I thought possible.
