According to The Telegraph, the Premier League is “tentatively” putting in place a plan to resume the season on June 1st behind closed doors.
The remaining nine games of the 2019-20 season would apparently be scheduled inside six weeks to allow the 2020-21 campaign to start on time.

Rescheduling fixtures at this point is a completely futile exercise but executives at the Premier League need to be seen to at least look busy.

Thankfully, journalist Henry Winter was on hand to give them a dose of reality on Sky Sports’ Sunday Supplement this morning, saying a June 1st restart is “simply not going to happen”.
