Mikey Moore (18) is a Spurs winger/attacking midfielder who joined Rangers on a season-long loan in August 2025. He has impressed significantly in the Scottish Premiership, featuring prominently under manager Danny Rohl. Moore’s loan ends soon, and he is expected to return to Tottenham initially for pre-season assessment under their new manager, Roberto De Zerbi.
Around the Lilywhite Internet, there has been much positive chatter in respect of Moore. He’s settled in well, and nobody has a bad word to say about him. If anything, he’s precisely the sort of fresh face that the North London side could do with.

Rangers want him back: Danny Rohl has publicly stated the club is “very clear” on wanting him and will “try everything.” He believes Moore fits well and can develop further at Ibrox. He told MailOnline.
“We are very clear as a club with what we want with Mikey, but there are three parties. We are just one of them. Mikey fits really well here, and I totally believe we can get him to the next level as well. Also, his relationship with Tuur next season could give us a strong left side. But we have to do a lot of things right now. We have to be patient with Mikey but also on the front foot.
We’re clear and we will try everything. Maybe if there’s a chance, and it makes sense to wait for him, we will wait. But if you ask me, I want to have him straight from pre-season when I prepare my team for a good start to the season. That’s important because we can’t allow ourselves to come so far from behind. We have to start really well and strong. We have to work hard to get a great start.”
Moore has spoken positively about Rangers, calling it a “dream” to play there, enjoying the fans and atmosphere, but his primary goal remains breaking into Spurs’ first team. Champions League football could be a factor in any decision.
Will Spurs reintegrate the boy in N17, or sanction another loan deal, possibly with options or a buy clause? Rangers may push for a permanent transfer if Spurs are open to it, especially given Moore’s rising value.
