8 goals in 12 games: Spurs, Everton have versatile midfielder ‘on their list’

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

The 22-year-old has been exceptional for the Dutch outfit season and he has managed to score 8 goals in 12 appearances across all competitions.

A report from BILD claims that Everton and Borussia Dortmund are keen on securing the talented Ghana international’s services as well.

Apparently, the player is valued at around €10 million and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can snap him up on a bargain.

Spurs are certainly lacking some creativity in the final third and the arrival of the Ajax star would improve them substantially.

The 22-year-old can operate as a midfielder in the number 10 role and he can slot into the wide positions as well. His versatility will be an added bonus for Antonio Conte and Tottenham.

Furthermore, the Ajax star is still quite young and he is likely to get even better with experience and coaching. There is no doubt that he could prove to be an exceptional acquisition in the long run.

With all three clubs interested in securing his services, it will be interesting to see if Ajax are willing to do business when the transfer window reopens in January.

Swapped him for Lamela and €25 million and he’s currently valued at €12 million. Weren’t him and Emerson Royal Paratici signings?

Utd spent approximately £150 million on Anthony, Martinez and Malacia from Ajax. Coincidentally, the same sum that was in our “war chest”! I think they had their pants pulled down.

Ajax won’t be selling any promising player for £10 million Most of the players they sold this summer were well North of £50 million. Just ask Man United.
