“Good riddance” “Please god no” Some strong fan reactions to one piece of inside info

By The Boy -

Eurosport believes that Dele Alli’s time at Tottenham is far from done. Fans appear to be split. I would submit that the divide is between those hoping against all hope that the 25-year-old’s form will exercise a 180° turn – and those who have been monitoring his actual performances.

The truth is, Dele is just another Spurs player that has slowly but surely gone off the boil, over far too many seasons in N17. Sure, there was some potential some while ago, but nobody INCLUDING the boy himself has managed to coax out anything resembling consistency.

José is well known for his ‘are you Dele or Dele’s brother quote, but there was more to the Portuguese’s duty of care, and the serial winner pleaded with his then charge that time passes so fast, he would only be left with regrets.

Mourinho couldn’t get a tune out of him. Nuno gave it a go and eventually abandoned the idea. Now Antonio Conte has seen precisely how far the lightweight the star has fallen.

One social media account relayed the news and the reactions were understandably unforgiving.

Dele is finished, peaked too early and now has no appetite for the game, Levy believes a top manager can reinvigorate the lad, well Jose failed and Conte can see what he is, just sell if you can whatever the fee.

Stefan Butthola ..be probed ..stretching things abit.

He would never say where the players came from
If they don’t exist and the moneys gone
While the dosh is light
And the players aren’t in sight.
No one knows money comes and goes

Goodbye Juve Tuesday
Who can hang a fine on you
When your charges change with every new day
Still I’m gonna nick you

The Spin and polishing the flops is in full speed these days I say Conte should forget January transfer window that is one window gone, he has left with one window in the summer 2022 if he lasts that long.

His fall from grace has been so dramatic it could feature as a Netflix drama. Dele Ali is like the brilliant schoolboy footballer who suffered from the physical changes of puberty. He’s slow, cumbersome can”t beat a man and doesn’t know how to tackle. He’s so bad now I’m not sure he’d get back in the MK Dons team.

I’ve long made excuses for him but after that loss against Mura? That’s the final straw! My old dog could have played better, and he’s been dead for 3 years! I want him out along with several others.in January please!

I’m in the out camp. He can take his dumb handshakes and dances with him when he leaves. We need footballers not pantomime donkeys in our shirt.

Somebody should write a book called “The Rise and Fall of Dele Alli”.

He’s David Bentley all over again. The “next” big English player, with bags of talent, but just no perceptible commitment to apply that talent.

Poch had him playing in the right position, just behind the front one or two. His great strength was arriving late in the box and he was a good finisher. For reasons that I couldn’t fathom, he was played further back, frequently as a wide midfield player, predominantly on the left. This showed up his weaknesses as he couldn’t kick the ball with his left foot and consequently always turned inside which inevitably led to our attack slowing down, coupled with the fact that he is neither blessed with much pace or dribbling ability. His ability lay in his natural goal scoring ability and once he was moved further back, he both stopped scoring and assisting. I also feel when I watch him play that he is just not interested in playing football any longer and is just happy to take his wages and concentrate on his off field activities. I think we have seen the best of him and it would be best if we sold him but how much is he now worth and who would pay his current wages?

Dele Alli is rubbish . He has been rubbish for almost 3 seasons. He wants to stay because no -one decent will buy him abandon he will never be paid as much as the mug Stephen Hitchen has sorted out for him.
Dele Alli is among a small but growing group of players who think they are more important than the club.
The problem lies with Levy and his overblown ego ..he believes if he signs them gives then them a new contract via Hitchen they must be good enough , his cringeworthy attempts to keep Christian Eriksen ( via the Amazon documentary) despite his awful form said everything.
Players not Pets …Dele Out.
