5 Successful Touches In 47 Minutes: Another Red Hot Spurs Transfer Fizzles Out| graphics

By The Boy -

I’ve made this point once or twice before and so you’ll indulge me again when I point out that you do not spend a billion pounds on a shopping center (with a football team as its anchor tenant) and then seek to pass off players such as Carlos Vinicius as a Premier League standard star.

47 minutes the boy was one for Spurs, in which space of time Carlos touched the ball successfully 5 times. On two of those occasions, it was for the kick-off! A veritable sea of black crosses.

Vinicius attempted a dozen tackles and was unsuccessful in just two of them.

There are too many passengers in the Tottenham squad, and in all departments. Having to bring Sonny on to replace this player was nothing shy of embarrassing.

If anyone watched Danny Ings yesterday they would have seen exactly why I have been so keen on him, he may or may not go somewhere with ambition in the summer, but whatever he does, he won’t be cheap.

and those 17 shots was the most shots they had against any premier league team, Joelinton scored the whole season 4 goals one of them against Spurs you couldn’t make it up.

Think I heard Newcastle had 17 shots in our box and an expected goal ratio of plus four.

Let that sink in. This is a relegation candidate that can’t score for love nor money and have a striker Joelinton who can’t score.

A team with better strikers could have put five past us.

Then again Mourinho told Levy we needed a quality experienced centre back.

Jose has imploded, he been asked why Toby Alderweireld did not play on Sunday game as he is not injured his answer he did not train till Saturday after the internationals that was blatant lie as has been shown photos of Toby was training on Thursday with his team mates in the training ground he said similar Aurier as well and there was photos of Aurier on Friday training with the team Mourinho’s new Slogan ( Get me out of here I’m celebrity) basically he is waiting his payment to get out at least that is my reading of the developments.

Seen enough of Vini to conclude he is out of his depth. On reflection starting Scarlett instead of Vini from the start may have had a bigger impact!!
