£30M Cash Offer Made For Defender

Straight cash offers for players are uncommon. Even the most modest transfer deal these days comes with an addendum of how the monies will be paid, when, and to whom.

So Everton mean business here with their cash bid of £30M for Rose.

A source close to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club tells the Harry Hotspur blog that Everton’s offer was placed before Spurs flew out to Singapore, and this was an influencing factor in Danny Rose not travelling on the preseason tour.

The problem with Rose obviously harks back to his ‘come and get me plea’ to The Sun.

Levy forgives but does not forget. The damage caused internally in 2017 is still felt today and this immature lunacy sealed the 28-year-old’s fate.

“I am going to voice my opinions.” Rose told The Sun.

The problem is, nobody beyond Sun readers had the faintest interest in his innermost thoughts.

The real problem with Rose is that he was too thick to realize the damage caused and kept a steady flow of his insights coming. Depression. Racism. Getting old.

Rose missed the boat when his stock was high. Spurs had the best back four in the land and Rose was a regular starter for England.

Alas, Manchester City only had one berth on the Good Ship Cashola and they opted to hand it to Kyle Walker.

This wasn’t anyone’s fault, it was just how the cookie crumbled.

Fingers crossed the EFC cameraman remembers to shout ‘cheese’, this time around.
