Tottenham attacker Richarlison is being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
It was reported last week that the Brazilian is a ‘top target’ for the Saudi in the January transfer window.
The Tottenham attacker was subject to late Saudi interest in the summer transfer window but Tottenham weren’t keen on letting Richarlison leave, having just sold Kane to Bayern Munich.
Saudi are ready to test the waters again in the January transfer window.
But as per the latest from Football Insider, the player is ‘determined to remain’ at Tottenham despite the lucrative opportunity to move to the Middle East and kick-start his career.
Pete O’Rourke’s report asserts that the player is determined to establish himself as a success within the squad and is not contemplating a move to the Saudi Pro League until a later stage in his career.
The 26-year-old, who joined Tottenham from Everton last season in a high-profile transfer, has faced challenges adapting to his new club.
He only scored one goal in the Premier League last season and while many thought that he would return to his best under Ange Postecoglou, he unfortunately has continued to struggle.
And he may now have lost his place on the left to Brennan Johnson due to poor form and injury problems.
Latest set-back for him came in the form of a surgery on his pelvis which is expected to sideline him for a few weeks.
TBH Says:
Despite his struggling form, one can not help but praise his determination to succeed with us and prove his critics wrong.
There is no doubt about the quality he possesses as proven by his goal-scoring record at Everton and with Brazil.
Whether he can find his best form back under Ange remains to be seen.
