Tosin Adarabioyo is reportedly open to a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Journalist Alasdair Gold has revealed that the Fulham defender would be open to joining Spurs if all parties can come to an agreement.
He said on Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast: “We’ve spoken about Tosin Adarabioyo at Fulham, Spurs have certainly retained an interest there.
“He’s an interesting one, like Eric Dier he’s available in the summer, I understand that if all parties were able to agree on a deal he would be up for the move to Spurs, but financially it probably wouldn’t benefit him as much.”
The 26-year-old is in the final six months of his contract with the London club and he will be a free agent in the summer. Adarabioyo will be able to secure pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs in January.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs can convince him to join the club next month. He could be available for a bargain because of his contract situation. It would make sense for Fulham to sell him as well instead of losing him on a free transfer in the summer.
Adarabioyo has proven his quality in the Premier League and he could make an immediate impact at Spurs. They need defensive reinforcements, especially after the injury to Micky van de Ven. Eric Dier could be on his way out of the club as well.
The 26-year-old Fulham defender would be the ideal replacement for Dier for a nominal price. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.
