26-year-old attacker ‘very much liked’ by Tottenham, £52.3m would get deal done

By Saikat -

Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has been linked with a move away from the Italian club in recent weeks.

A report from Calciomercatoweb claims that Tottenham Hotspur could look to make a move for him in the coming months.

The Italian international winger has a contract with Juventus until the summer of 2025 and they could look to cash in on him. Apparently, the winger is valued at €60 million (£52.3m) and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to pay that kind of money for him.

The North London outfit are already well stocked in the wide areas and they should aim to sign a centre forward instead.

Chiesa is undoubtedly a quality player who has been in fine form this season. The winger has four goals and an assist in eight league appearances so far. The 26-year-old was regarded as a world-class prospect when he guided Italy to the European championships in 2021. However, his development stalled because of a serious injury.

It seems that Chiesa is slowly getting back to his best once again and he could be a useful option for Ange Postecoglou in the attack.

Meanwhile, the report claims that the player is ‘very much liked’ by Newcastle United along with Tottenham. It will be interesting to see which of the two clubs come forward with a concrete proposal in the coming months.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League could be an exciting option for the Italian international and he could be tempted to join the two clubs.
