Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the London club in recent months.
Apparently, German champions Bayern Munich are keen on signing the 29-year-old striker at the end of the season. Kane has been in outstanding form this season scoring 18 goals across all competitions.
However, he is extremely doubtful of his future at the London club because of the uncertainty surrounding the future of manager Antonio Conte. Kane has a £200k-a-week contract at Spurs until 2024.
The 53-year-old Italian will be out of contract in the summer and he has been linked with a return to Italy.
Although Tottenham retain an option to extend Conte’s deal by another season, they might not want to do so if the manager is not ready to commit himself to their cause.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of potential replacements for the Italian manager and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
According to Calcio Mercato, Kane’s future at Tottenham is closely linked with that of Antonio Conte and the Italian manager’s decision will certainly affect the England international’s future.
Spurs will be hoping to hold on to both of them for the foreseeable future. Kane and Conte will be crucial to their hopes of winning a trophy and it remains to be seen whether they can convince the duo to sign an extension with the club soon.
Losing them together at the end of the season would be a devastating blow.
