Football fans have reacted to the news that two Tottenham players will miss their match against Newcastle United because of covid-19.
The undisclosed players have thrown their plans for the match into chaos and Nuno Espirito Santo will now have to change whatever strategies he had for the game.
The news was published by Sky Sports on their Twitter account and they claim the infections have thrown Spurs’ plans into chaos.
Considering that quite a few clubs have suffered through Coronavirus this season and last for that matter, the Tweet has been ridiculed for the use of the word chaos.
It has not yet been officially confirmed which two players are affected at the time of writing this, however, the rumour is that it is Bryan Gil and Son Heung-min, though not sure how that came about.
Anyway, here are some reactions from football fans in general that took exception to another Sky Sports clickbait tweet.
2 players out of 25 is not chaos, choas is the low vaccination levels among pro footballers

How is it chaos? Other clubs including Arsenal have had to play despite having multiple players test positive. Get on with it.

No big deal is it.

They could easily have two players out injured at any time.
"plunged in to chaos".

Get real, and maybe a bit less dramatic. It's 2 players FFS! 🤣😂
Lol. Sky Sports put a headline out there that's not a statement from the club for likes and clickbait and people out here saying Spurs are a joke for wanting to cancel the fixture 🤣 we are more than capable of losing at Newcastle without injuries and illness thanks!

Wishing the team to lose coz of the suits. Unbelievable. Hope you’re well bruva cush
Danny Rose is not Ben Davies & could never play on the left of a back three, he maybe could’ve done a job as a wing back. I think Claudio was showing Rose why he wont play much under him going forward.
Shame for Rose, but his legs went a good while ago.
Maybe now is the time for him to get deep into coaching.
Was in another dodgy lasagne!
I get you want the owners out guys. I want them gone too, and the board to change, and the whole infrastructure of the scouts from the youth academy to the seniors turned inside out….. But never wish our boys to lose…. Never wish a hammering on us… We win later and we move in to top 4… You can not support the owners fair enough, but never stop supporting the team… The Toon faithful will be loud tomorrow.. 4-2 win for us, Kane to finally score… Up the Yids.
For sure.. Gil isn’t a starter yet.. But losing Son isn’t ideal at all he’s our main man at the minute.
Was it the tomato source?
Sadly agree with your point that a hammering may be a long term gain. Enic have destroyed the institution that was THFC and the only way back is a set of owners who are fit for purpose.
TBF Sissoko was very good for Poch for a spell too.
Depends which 2 it is – if it’s Lloris and Gallini we’re up the swanny!
I won’t divulge the source from within the club but told its definitely Son and Gill.
Spurs fans
We lose Son and they still moan at Sky (dont read their shite if you dont like it).
Put up a more important player for us atm.
2 players out for most clubs is manageable however we have only 11 players in the club capable of playing in the EPL and so two out from that wafer-thin squad is an issue. We will still have no midfield and flappy arms Dier gesticulating as he loses his man once again for yet another goal and Ali flip-flopping all over the park-like a dreadlocked prima donna. St James Park will be heaving as their fans flock in to celebrate the departure of Ashley whilst we sink deeper into the bowels of mediocrity with Dr. No and Uncle Joe sucking the lifeblood out of THFC. Sad to say but losing and getting walloped may be better for the long-term future if it pushes ENIC one step closer to a departure.
Two observations from the Watford game.Danny Rose has fallen so far below the level he once was for us and England and Sissoko looked like the player we thought we bought,A pretty good driving MF performance in a side that struggled to get any positves out of the game.
