Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on the West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen.
According to a report from the Athletic, Tottenham have the 26-year-old attacker on their list of targets and they have been following him for several years.
Bowen has been a key player for West Ham since joining the club from Hull City.
The 26-year-old attacker was instrumental to their UEFA Europa Conference League win last season and he scored 13 goals and picked up 8 assists across all competitions.
Tottenham could certainly use a quality right-sided winger like him and the West Ham star would be a superb acquisition for Spurs.
However, the report from Athletic claims that West Ham are unlikely to sanction his departure this summer, especially with Declan Rice set to leave the club.
The Hammers will not let multiple key players leave the club this summer.
Furthermore, West Ham have secured qualification for the Europa League and they will need a quality squad to compete in Europe next season.
Bowen carried the West Ham attack all by himself last season and he is an indispensable asset for the Londoners. Meanwhile, Spurs will have to bring in someone who will add goals and creativity in the final third. Harry Kane clearly needs more support from his teammates Bowen would have been an ideal fit.
The 26-year-old as well settled in the Premier League and he could have made an immediate impact.
A move to Tottenham would have been a step up in the attacker’s career as well and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham try and tempt him with an offer this summer.
