12-goal prodigy has got ‘excited’ Tottenham staff ‘talking’ about him

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Mikey Moore has attracted a lot of attention with his impressive performances for the youth team this season.

The 16-year-old is highly rated around England and he has a bright future ahead of him. The youngster is regarded as one of the finest young prospects in the country right now and journalist Tom Barclay has now revealed on The Tottenham Way Podcast that the club staff are very excited about the 16-year-old and they are waiting for him to develop into a key player for the first team.

“Mikey Moore is a player that lots of people have been talking about for a long time, signed a new deal in the summer, he’s only 16 but when you watch him, he has such grace on the ball, such dribbling ability and vision, he’s someone who is definitely someone they’re excited about,” Barclay said.

The highly-rated winger has been in phenomenal form for the Tottenham youth team this season, scoring 12 goals and picking up seven assists in just 11 appearances across all competitions.

There is no doubt that Moore is a serious talent and Spurs will need to focus on his development. He could develop into an important first-team player for them in the coming seasons.

Tottenham have put together an impressive core of young talents at the youth level as well as the first team. Players like Radu Dragusin, Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr are already important first team players for Tottenham and the Londoners clearly have a bright future ahead of themselves.

Former director Fabio Paratici placed special emphasis on recruiting talented young players and Tottenham are now reaping rewards of that approach. The fans will certainly be excited about the future of the club and players like Moore will look to fulfil their potential at the north London club in the coming seasons.
