Transfer insider says Spurs ‘increasingly likely to make a move’ for 24-year-old Paratici has recommended

Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s squad in the upcoming transfer window, eyeing multiple potential signings to enhance their roster.

In the latest transfer buzz, Atalanta midfielder Ederson has emerged as a top target for the Lilywhites.

Transfer Insider Dean Jones, in an exclusive update for SportsLens, reports that Tottenham’s pursuit of Ederson has intensified, with indications pointing towards a possible transfer at the end of the current season.

Jones claims that Spurs are ‘increasingly likely to make a move for him’ this summer.

He further adds that Ederson could become a priority when the transfer window opens.

While Ederson is currently under contract with Atalanta until June 30, 2026, the Italian club may entertain the idea of his departure come the summer, unlike the January transfer window when they were reluctant to part ways mid-season.

It is believed that the 24-year-old’s style of play aligns well with the way Ange Postecoglou sets his team up.

Ederson has been a mainstay in Gian Piero Gasperini’s lineup this season, featuring in 27 Serie A matches and contributing 5 goals and an assist to Atalanta’s campaign.

His standout performances have attracted interest from other Premier League clubs, including Newcastle and Manchester United, intensifying the competition for Tottenham’s pursuit of the midfielder.

Former Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici, who remains influential within the club, has also advocated for Ederson’s signing, as he did during the winter transfer window.

Given Paratici’s track record of recommending top talents for the squad, including Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Cristian Romero, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is likely to consider his input seriously in the pursuit of Ederson.
