Tottenham told how much they have to pay to sign Premier League star who prefers move to Spurs

Crystal Palace have put a price tag on their highly sought-after attacker Eberechi Eze.

Tottenham have been of the clubs who are interested in signing him, with manager Ange Postecoglou said to be expressing a keen interest in bringing the talented Englishman to the club.

In fact, it appears that the club have stepped up their pursuit of the 25-year-old. It was reported yesterday that Eze’s representatives have been invited as special guests to attend Tottenham’s match against Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the weekend.

This would be the second time, as they made a similar gesture last month, where Eze’s entourage were allocated a private box during the match against Palace, where the player impressed, scoring a free-kick against the hosts.

However, Tottenham are not the only club interested in him, as reigning Champions Manchester City are reportedly also keen on signing him. However, it is said that the player would prefer a move to Spurs due to the close family ties.

Crystal Palace slap £60m price-tag on Eberechi Eze

It has now been reported by the BBC that Crystal Palace have slapped a £60m price tag on their prized asset.

Eze signed a new contract with the Eagles only last November which runs until 2027, putting them in a strong position in terms of negotiations.

The report also adds that Eze is happy at the club and will not be desperate to leave the club with focus on waiting for the right move which benefits him and allows him to show ability on the ball and his attacking flair.

Tottenham meanwhile are said to have a substantial transfer budget this summer, which suggests that they would not shy away from spending that sort of money on Eze if the need be.

However, knowing Daniel Levy, he will surely try to low-ball Palace into a cheaper price if he makes an offer.
