Tottenham weighing up move for €37m attacker despite medical concerns

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on signing the Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa at the end of the season.

According to a report from Give Me Sport, the North London, outfit are weighing up a summer move for the 18-year-old Norwegian winger despite medical concerns. He was heavily linked with the move to Brentford during the January transfer window and the Premier League side agreed on a fee with the Belgian outfit as well. However, the move collapsed after Brentford discovered medical concerns with his knee.

Nusa will be on the market once again at the end of the season and Tottenham are ready to take a chance on him. Recently a report from WalFoot claimed that the winger is valued at €37 million. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to pay that kind of money for a player with medical concerns.

The North London might hope to sign him for a more reasonable price. The 18-year-old is highly rated across Europe and he is expected to develop into a top-class winger with the right guidance.

He has four goals and four assists across all competitions this season and he is versatile enough to operate on both flanks.

Nusa would be a good fit for Tottenham’s attacking approach and Ange Postecoglou could help the 18-year-old develop further and fulfil his tremendous potential. In theory, the move seems ideal for all parties, but the medical issue cannot be overlooked. It remains to be seen how the situation develops and whether Tottenham are prepared to take a gamble on him.
