There could be a mass exodus at Tottenham after their failure to win the Premier League title say Press Association Sport.

The Sun is reporting that ERIC DIER, KYLE WALKER and DANNY ROSE all want to leave White Hart Lane after interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.

If Walker does leave, Spurs have already lined up a replacement as they have begun discussions with DANI ALVES over a potential move from Juventus, according to Yahoo.

MOUSSA SISSOKO is another player linked with the exit door. Spanish outlet Don Balon claims Barcelona are keen on him, but face competition from Real Madrid and AC Milan.

One person who will not be leaving the club in the summer is boss MAURICIO POCHETTINO who has told Inter Milan he will not become their next coach.

Arsenal’s hopes of keeping hold of ALEXIS SANCHEZ depend on whether they make the top four, the Daily Express writes.

The Chilean has been the standout performer for the Gunners this season but, having stalled on a new contract, he could leave in the summer if there is no Champions League football at the Emirates next season.

The Guardian claims that Chelsea are ready to offer goalkeeper THIBAUT COURTOIS £150,000 per week to stay at the club, amid interest from Real Madrid.

If Walker does leave, Spurs have already lined up a replacement as they have begun discussions with DANI ALVES over a potential move from Juventus, according to Yahoo.

  • UnkleTaff May 18, 2017 at 6:34 pm

According to the BBC we will not be able to reduce the Wembley pitch size to match the dimensions of the old WHL pitch as there is a minimum pitch size regulation* and the old WHL pitch fell short of that. We were allowed to get away with it because the tightness of the ground meant we were unable to make the pitch any bigger.

This goes a long way towards explaining why the new pitch will be quite a bit larger than the old one.

    * Whether this is a PL or a Uefa regulation I know not.

    • UnkleTaff May 18, 2017 at 6:38 pm
    • David Dillenberg May 18, 2017 at 6:40 pm

Hence the principal reason I would have preferred to have played at such smaller compact stadium as Ipswich Town, Reading or MK Dons if poss.

      • UnkleTaff May 18, 2017 at 6:51 pm

The pitch at MK Dons measures 105m by 68m as does the one at Reading’s Majeski Stadium.

Portman Road is even bigger at 102m by 75m.

        Any more bright ideas?

    Poch on Player Loyalty

“It is our responsibility. For us (Staff)it is easy to be loyal and responsible and to try to finish our job. You cannot expect that from a player. There are many different interests and their point of view is completely different.

We will see what happens but there are two different positions: one is ours as staff, another is a player’s. We need to assess every situation. ”

Or maybe more than one player. I hope not, you never know. Possibly Dier, and I think he is a very good player but not essential.

          • David Dillenberg May 18, 2017 at 6:33 pm

You could be right but Bonzo’s days look numbered as neither player nor club have quelled speculation about his future. IMO Dier and others will stay this season but Walker is a gonner.

          • Gloster1861 May 18, 2017 at 6:33 pm

If Dier went, it could explain out interest in players like Barkley.

            • David Dillenberg May 18, 2017 at 6:34 pm

or healthy competition for Dembele and Son?

            • The Great White Hope May 18, 2017 at 6:45 pm

Dier is likely to go as he doesn’t like being played out of position, if Man City come in for him it’s a forgone conclusion, pity because that will unsettle Alli.

Wembley is a challenge, and it will take some adjustment time. However, the squad will adjust to the pitch, the fans will adjust to their new neighbors next to them, some cohesion will form some atmosphere, and it will all be fine.

Just takes time. Expect a LOT of fair-weather-fan whining in the early days.
