The skilful Irishman and the mercurial Bulgarian were a joyous front pair to watch in their two seasons together at White Hart Lane, combining for 93 goals during that time. It was a partnership so good that it kept a certain Jermain Defoe out of the side, forcing him to briefly depart to Portsmouth.
In the video below, speaking to Sky Sports Football podcast, Keane explains why he enjoyed playing with Berba so much and dismissed the common misconception that he was arrogant.

C’mon now. Berba was a little arrogant, but that only added to his appeal.
And being named Keano’s best-ever strike partner, ahead of the likes of Ronaldo, Christian Vieri, and Fernando Torres, will only increase his ego.
I thought Berba was awesome, he also went on strike the Rat Face Son of a Rapist.
Unforgivable and people call him a club legend.
This has genuinely hurt my head! It’s got to the stage where I’m thinking about the midfield needed to support both front lines. Got to agree with you though, Berbatov was awesome.
Berba and Kane or Keano and Kane? Berbs for me.
Berbs was brilliant, definitely an all time top 10 favourite spurs player to watch for me.
Keane more top 25? Plus Keane was ‘Mr Tottenham’ for years – so that say everything about how good Berbatov was.
