Ranking The 5 Most Plausible Spurs Transfer Rumours Right Now | Our view

By Joe Fish -

5: Philippe Coutinho

Football Insider report that we can sign the Barcelona playmaker on loan for £8m. Loans are not part of Daniel Levy’s usual business model but we are going to need to find creative solutions with our summer business and the Brazilian will be one of the best players available in the loan market.

4: Ryan Fraser

Would tick the boxes for Levy as the Bournemouth winger is available on a free transfer but I’m not convinced Jose Mourinho would fancy the Scot. I’m sure he’d rather have Willian but those rumours have gone a bit quiet.

Football Insider understands we are preparing a contract offer for him.

3: Timothy Castagne

The Belgium international is refusing to negotiate a new contract with Atalanta, according to Corriere Della Sera in Italy. By hook or by crook we will sign a right-back and Castagne looks like he could be affordable.

2: Luis Campos

Our most important signing this summer might not be a player but the coup of Luis Campos as Director of Football. Canal+ in France expected the transfer guru to link up with his Portuguese pal Jose, although reports that he’s left Lille were premature. They seem destined to work together though.

1: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

All the pieces are in place for this one. Hojbjerg is about to enter the last year of his contract and Sky Sports have identified him as a top Spurs target. He has told Danish outlet Sport1 that he is hungry to test himself at the next level and even liked tweets linking him with a move to us.

Without reading the thread. Realistically anyone cheap with a possible sell on and low wages is ALL we can expect from these owners.
