Yet another injury blow: Gold confirms Tottenham ace with 4 goals and 9 assists has picked up an injury

Tottenham have suffered another injury blow, with youngster Jamie Donley becoming the latest victim.

According to Alasadir Gold of Football London, the 19-year-old has picked up a hamstring injury. However, the good news is that it is not a very serious one, and he should be back available next week.

The youngster has been in fine form, contributing significantly with four goals and nine assists in just nine appearances for Tottenham U21 in the Premier League 2 this season.

His impressive form has resulted in him getting involved with the first-team as well, making 3 appearances, twice in the league and once in the FA Cup.

This isn’t the first time a Tottenham player has been sidelined due to a hamstring problem; it has become a recurring theme.

Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Ben Davies, and Giovani Lo Celso have all suffered similar injuries this season.

Injuries have been a big problem for Ange Postecoglou this season, with a ridiculous total of 21 players from Ange Postecoglou’s side have been victims of injuries at some point this season.

It is now upto the medical team to work along with Ange to figure out the reason behind the recurring injuries and in particular the reason behind the number of hamstring injuries.
