When one seeks to add up the value Gareth Bale has added to Tottenham during his loan spell, the mathematics is not uncomplicated. 10 goals and 3 assists in all competitions. All actions were gratefully received but if we are inclined to look a little closer at the opponents the goals were against the following Premier League sides; Brighton, Stoke, Burnley, and Crystal Palace. The remainder came against Lask, Wycombe, and Wolfsberger. The real issue with Gareth us that he was unavailable to feature against anyone else, which of course was masqueraded José Mourinho having a beef with the boy. How do we know this is an invention? Well, the clue is in how many minutes Bale managed when he did manage to play. His only game in all competitions in which he played a full game, was against Wycombe in the FA Cup, on 25.01.2021.
Amid the public relations carnage of the agent, Jonathan Barnett seeking to claim his client’s recent smug words were taken out of context, and Zinedine Zidane publicly dismissing a return to Real Madrid even if the 31-year-old were to score ’30-goals’, the pair need to stop whistling in the dark and accept that after this deal, the next deal will see the Welshman frozen out of professional football, and playing a little golf in between getting paid for one more season. Or can Bale avoid his fate? It’s my belief that Gareth will pressure himself to play for someone, in order to keep his international career going, The betting market is likely to be inventive, telecomasia.net, for example, has great coverage in all markets. The elephant in the room is of course the horrific wage bill, and the cherry on that horror cake is that the world has seen what one gets for a subsidized £320,000 a week. Namely, one gets a player who is sometimes available to exercise influence over sides that history is extremely unlikely to remember favourably.
My money would be on Los Blancos being lumbered with Bale, but there does remain one further possible option; if Bale were to further subsidize another loan himself, purely in order to keep his Welsh national hopes alive. This in my opinion is not an outcome to be underestimated, unless Bale is prepared to retire earlier than he might have planned.
The situation at Tottenham has been a disaster and if the boy is content enough to end his career in this fashion, then that will be a matter for his conscience.

Oh Bale. The agony. All will be redeemed though, if he gets the winner against City 25th of April. I can see it in my dreams. Then again, I just read somewhere that the pandemic is causing people to have vivid and bizarre dreams
Indeed…and look at the downvotes….still some cultists clinging on to the Levy ledge for dear life….
Bale only real hope is getting to Inter Miami if he wants to try and make a World Cup. Which might happen after a year in the bench at Real. He did lift the club when he first arrived, but the shenanigans went on and all that good went to waste and he has become detrimental to the club. It’s as shame the Welsh mafia don’t have a word but that’s wishful thinking.
In one!
Gareth Bale….. The football worlds biggest publicity stunt gone wrong ….
All overseen by that footballing genius Daniel Levy … He’s magic you know …. Oh Wait !
