Tottenham loanee Alejo Veliz scored a dramatic stoppage time winner to win the game for Espanyol earlier today.
Rayo Vallecano took the lead inside 5 minutes but Espanyol responded almost instantly thanks to a goal from Carlos Romero.
The match remained 1-1 until the 96th minute of the game when Alejo Veliz popped up with a suberb finish to win it for Espanyol.
Controlling the ball with his back to the goal, he turned and lashed in an unstoppable strike into the back of the net to win it for his side.
