Tottenham loanee Troy Parrott secured an outstanding hat-trick for Excelsior Rotterdam, helping the club closer to Eredivisie safety in a crucial showdown.
Currently involved in the relegation/promotion play-offs after finishing 16th in the Eredivisie table, Excelsior faced a pivotal clash against Den Haag.
However, Excelsior made a resounding statement, thrashing their opponents with a remarkable 7-0 win, with Parrott emerging as the star of the show.
His first two goals, which came in the 3rd and 27th minute, were both exquisite. Demonstrating his finesse and precision, Parrott executed two sublime chips over the goalkeeper to assert Excelsior’s dominance early in the contest.
