Micky van de Ven has been an incredible signing for Spurs since joining from Wolfsburg in the summer.
He made an instant impact, forming a formidable partnership at the back with Romero and has very quickly established his name amongst the best centre-backs in the country.
And he was immense once again against Everton.
He demonstrated exceptional performance with a 91% pass accuracy, 74 touches, 53 out of 58 passes completed, 6 duels won, 6 clearances, 4 ball recoveries, a 100% success rate in tackles, and a successful last man tackle.
And a clip from one particular moment went viral where he showed crazy speed to get back and make a brilliant tackle on Dominic Calvert-Lewin in what looked like a good chance to score.
Had it not have been for the Dutchman’s last-ditch defending, Everton could have easily come away with all three points.
