Fulham’s Tom Cairney has gone from hero to zero after being sent off for his reckless foul on Dejan Kulusevski.
He came off the bench to equalise for Fulham with a stunning finish in the 67th minute to cancel out Brennan Johnson’s goal earlier in the second half.
But the midfielder did not last long on the pitch. His tackle from behind on Kulusevksi is initially seen as a yellow but after a VAR review, the decision is rescinded and replaced by a red.

✅ Red card correctly awarded
There is clear contact with Kulusevski's calf, as the Fulham player steps on it violently. This is an absolutely terrible foul that could potentially cause a serious injury. Clear red card https://t.co/norNcRpSRo pic.twitter.com/JEw3arIEN2
