Guglielmo Vicario was once again solid for Tottenham as they secured a comfortable 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.
Richarlison scored the opener for Spurs right before half-time to break the deadlock with a great header from a Kulusevski assist.
Kulusevski extended Spurs’ lead in the second half with a spectacular finish from his weaker foot, capitalising on a goalkeeper error.
However, Tottenham’s momentum faced a setback as Bissouma received a red card for a reckless tackle on Yates, reducing them to 10 men.
Nottingham Forest intensified their search for a goal after that and nearly pulled one back if not for Vicario’s heroics.
The Italian shot-stopper made a stunning save to deny a certain goal that would have set up a nervy finish to the game for Spurs.
After the full-time whistle, Alasdair Gold reveals, the keeper called together the defense in a huddle to celebrate the clean sheet together.
