Tottenham defender Cristian Romero put in a man of the match performance against Brazil during Argentina’s 1-0 win over their rivals.
Otamendi scored the only goal of the game in the 63rd minute to win it for the World champions.
But it was Romero whose performance was talked about the most with fans claiming it was one of the best individual performances in the Superclasico history.
He won 80% of the duels, made four clearances, the most tackles in the game, the most accurate passes and made a stunning goal line clearance to save a certain Brazil goal.
🇦🇷 Lionel Messi: “For me, Cristian Romero is the best defender in the world right now.”

He’s a huge miss for Tottenham who will be without him for another two games as he serves his three match ban for his red card against Chelsea.
Tottenham are expected to start with Dier and Davies at the back against Unai Emery’s side on the weekend.
