Video: Son Heung-min and James Maddison combine for Tottenham's equaliser

Tottenham Hotspur conceded an early goal in the north London derby against Arsenal after Bukayo Saka’s effort was deflected into the goal by Cristian Romero.

Tottenham have now found an equaliser in the 42nd minute thanks to a well-taken goal by Son-Heung min.

Midfielder James Maddison did exceptionally well to create a goal-scoring opportunity from the byline and Son managed to convert his cutback to draw his side on level terms.

Both teams have been equally matched so far and Tottenham will be slightly disappointed to have conceded a deflected effort early on in the game.

Ange Postecoglou’s men have taken a fearless approach in the north London derby so far and they will be hoping to come out on top and grind out all three points.
