Former Premier League manager Thomas Tuchel has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Londoners are going through a rough patch right now and Antonio Conte’s long-term future at the club is in serious doubt.
According to a report from London Evening Standard, the former Chelsea manager would be open to taking over at Tottenham if the Premier League side decides to part ways with Antonio Conte.
Furthermore, the Italian manager will be out of contract at the end of the season and Spurs have not managed to tie him down to a new long-term deal. If Conte decides to move on at the end of the season, Tuchel could prove to be a quality alternative.
The German manager helped Chelsea win the Champions League during his time at Stamford Bridge and he would certainly be an exciting acquisition.
Despite his ties to their run London rivals, the German manager has no apprehensions about taking over at Tottenham and it remains to be seen how the Spurs fans feel about the potential appointment.
Meanwhile, the Londoners have been linked with former manager Mauricio Pochettino as well. The Argentine is currently without a job and he has been linked with a return to the London club in recent months.
Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea following a poor run of results and he has been without a job since September. The German manager has proven himself at clubs like Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain in the past and he will be hungry to show his worth in the Premier League once again.
