Fenerbahce are closing in on the capture of the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer.

According to a report from Fanatik, the transfer saga is currently ‘nearing the end’, and the player will join the Turkish outfit this summer. The 28-year-old has not been at his best in recent months, and it would be ideal for him to move on

The report further claims that the Turkish outfit have already secured an agreement with the player on certain aspects of the move.

The Mali international needs a fresh start, and a move to Turkey could be ideal for him. He will be hoping to get his career back on track with regular football at Fenerbahce. He has shown his ability in the Premier League over the years, and there is no doubt that he is a quality player. If he manages to regain his form and confidence, he could prove to be an excellent acquisition for the Turkish outfit.

The report claims that Fenerbahce will sign him for a lot less than his market value of €25 million. The 28-year-old could prove to be a bargain for the Turkish side.

Tottenham need midfield depth

Meanwhile, Tottenham are already lacking in depth in the middle of the park, and it remains to be seen whether they can replace the Mali international adequately. They need to bring in a defensive midfielder during the summer transfer window.

The player is still very much at the peak of his powers, and he will look to establish himself as a key player for the Turkish club. He will look to fight for trophies with them next season.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can improve their squad adequately during the summer window. They need to bring in quality players if they want to do well in the UEFA Champions League next year.
