Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown has claimed that Yves Bissouma could be sold at the end of the season.
The Mali International has been quite underwhelming with his performances and Brown claims that the player is no longer a key part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans going forward.
Spurs are reportedly looking at alternatives and they could look to bring in a quality replacement in the summer.
He said to Football Insider: “I don’t think he fits in with what Postecoglou is trying to do and he’s not really going to be part of his plans in the long-term.
“They’ve got other options he prefers in that position, and I hear they’re going to look to sign somebody too.
“So I think they’ll be open to offers for him when the window opens and I can see him leaving the club.”
It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds. The 28-year-old has been quite inconsistent this season and he has attracted a lot of criticism in recent months.
Yves Bissouma needs a fresh start

Perhaps a fresh start would be ideal for him as well. Tottenham need better players if they want to fight for trophies and compete in the Champions League regularly.
Leaving the English club could provide Bissouma with the opportunity to rediscover himself and get his career back on track. A move in the summer could be ideal for all parties. It remains to be seen whether any club is willing to provide the midfielder with an exit route.
The £55k-a-week star has shown his quality in the Premier league with Brighton and Tottenham. There is no doubt that he is good enough for the English top flight. Perhaps a move to a midtable club could be ideal for him, and it would allow him to regain his form and confidence without being put under too much pressure.
Meanwhile, Tottenham will have to plug the gaps in their squad during the summer transfer window. They need a specialist defensive midfielder who can protect the defensive unit and breakdown opposition attacking moves.
A quality defensive midfielder would allow the creative players to operate with more freedom as well.
