Tottenham Hotspur youngster Yago Santiago has been linked with a move away from the club in the near future.
A report from the Spanish publication AS claims that the attacker could soon develop into an ‘elite’ player if he continues to perform the way he has done in recent months.
Santiago has established himself as a key player for the Tottenham youth team and he’s regarded as one of the finest young talents around.
The report from AS claims that the attacker is valued at €220,000 by Transfermarkt and therefore he could be available at a ‘bargain’.
The 20-year-old attacker is a prodigious talent with a bright future ahead of him, and there is no way Spurs would sanction his departure for the aforementioned price.
It seems that the report from AS is pure speculation and perhaps wishful thinking. In addition to that, the valuations on Transfermarkt are hardly accurate and are derived through various algorithms.

Tottenham will not want to sell Yago Santiago
Even if Spurs were to sell the player in the near future, they are likely to demand a substantial amount of money for Santiago.
With that said, the player is highly valued within the club and he will be expected to develop into a first team player soon. It is highly unlikely that Tottenham will let him leave any time soon.
As for Santiago, he will look to make his mark in English football and establish himself as a key player for Tottenham. There is clearly a void in the first team as far as a quality striker is concerned and the 20-year-old will fancy his chances of establishing himself as a starter.
