Tottenham Hotspur are very much in the race to sign the Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee.
The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the finest young attackers in Italian football, and he has eight goals and four assists to his name across all competitions. His performances have attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs and a report from Fichajes claims that Tottenham are ‘well positioned’ to secure his signature.
The North London club need to bring in a quality striker who can lead the line for them and share the goalscoring burden with Son Heung-min. Zirkzee is valued at €40 million and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can win the race for his signature.
The striker is only 22 and he is likely to improve with coaching and experience. He could easily justify the investment in the coming seasons and establish himself as a reliable Premier League goalscorer.
